Authorized Person
Are there any FreeLance Instructors who are Authorized Persons? Would anyone have the specific CARS on the subject? TP15419 says (3) Authorized Persons are NORMALLY individuals associated with a Flight Training Organization. Then in the next sentence it refers to "They" which refers to the "normal i...

Rotorway- Endorsements - Bulk Time -Share Ownership -Winnipeg
Everyone knows the Robinson R22 is the most popular most economical trainer right? I'm amazed at the number of low time helicopter pilots who have never flown a Rotorway. Do you also know that there are more registered Rotorway helicopters than R22s? There are very large differences in the cost of f...

Re: EB2 NIW Visa
Applying for any US Visa is not just a risk of being denied , but once denied you have effectively registered yourself as having Immigrant intent and the system then looks as to how to keep you from ever crossing the border again. You do not to get to kick the can more than once successfully. Cross ...

Re: FAA Instrument Renewal in Canada?
I'm an FAA CFI Instrument Instructor and Multi-engine instructor
based in CYWG.
Typically many foreign pilots have FAA instrument ratings
and need a recent FAA Instrument Proficiency Check
in order to convert an FAA IR to a TC Instrument Rating.

New Licence Stats
Would anyone have the stats on new Helicopter private and commercial licences issued in Canada
in 2023?
CBC news has an article stating that Transport Canada issued 12 helicopter licences in 2022.
Did 2023 recover and what is the outlook for 2024 and 2025?

Re: EB2 NIW Visa
The reality is there are very few people in Aviation who would qualify for an EB2 NIW Visa and those who do are most probably eligible for other more commonly known US visas and of those most are probably so established in Canada that they are unlikely to even make the application. I'd say 99.9% of ...

Re: EB2 NIW Visa
I'd like to warn everyone that that there are people "selling" memerships in "professional organizations who claim they can dam near get your visa gift wrapped. One person is advertizing on Linked in and makes it sound like buying a bus ticket. I would be very cautious about accepting as fact any st...

12V or 24V DC to 400 hz 115v Sine Wave Circuit
I brought an Artificial Horizon that was incorrectly described as 28v DC
but is in fact out of a SkyHawk fighter that used 115V Sine Wave at 400 Hz
Would anyone have any circuits or circuit ideas for such a supply?

Beech 1900 Check-Lists and POH
I've been out of a King Air for 5 years and planing on returning. I'd really appreciate some current Beech 1900 docs, Check lists with Memory Items highlighted, POH, exams, etc. I'd like to really get my knowledge back up to speed before sending in a resume to the well known 1900 operators. It would...

Re: ICAO ATPL to TC ATPL and logbook
Check that Transport Canada acknowledged your email Normally they will get back to you but if you don't hear anything in a week I'd send it again and or call them. It just takes time. Now, you have to meet all the requirements, experience in other countries is fine just provide certified copies the ...
