Anybody have any insight about AME work with L3 in Trenton? Is it a decent place to work?

Hello AME contractors.Looking for leads on work outside of Canada as a contractor.Can you help?

I think all the Jazz Line mtce Mech got layed off in YHZ because of PAL taking the routes over.

I thought they only have a small FBO hangar.Won’t fit a Q400.Whats the AME pay like in YHZ?

How has PAL been doing with their Air Canada CPA arrangement? Are they going to build a hangar in Halifax? I expect they will be eating more of Jazzs cake if they do well.

Can somebody tell me what Porter Airlines pays their ACAs ?

Just heard that Airbus in Mirabel is hiring Mexicans at a government subsidized wage.Canadian contractors are being kicked out.Just terrible.

A good example why AMEs are leaving this industry.

Has anybody had any issues with CRA with respect to being classified as a PSB (Personal Service Business) vs Independent contractor? The tax burden difference is huge.See attached link on this topic.
