The captain did the right thing saved everybody... he was new to the q-400 an that was his limit this are the kind of pilots who live long and are incidents or accident free... imagine if had done the approach and crashed the investigators would have said he was not qualified and he should have gone...

hey, all you need to do is get canadian medical done then write the cpl exam 100 questions only and also write the inrat for the IR. As for flight test you have to do cpl flight test and ir as well and if have for than 50 hours on multi engine time they might give u the rating without a flight test ...

Third this year only that is realy prety bad record in this case it's most PROBABLY is pilot error and overun the runway and burnt. very sad

gps questions and know the dffirence between minimum fuel and fuel emergency. they will try to trick you on contact app and visual app as afr as radio aids know the advantage of a lightling scope over a weather radar. but nothing is hard if you are well prepared good luck

both at fault
both parties are at fault the pilots forgot the transponder and atc did not divert the gol 737 when the legacy jet could not be seen on radar i think the pilots did not know the systems of the legacy well enough which led to the accident but that is realy sad. accidents never have just have one fact...

I advice you to go to harv's air tons of idian students have come there many of them done by now. lots of airplanes from 152 to senecas for multi training and friendly in atmosphere. i was a student at harv's air myself completed cpl and multi and ifr. call adam penner he should help you out 1-204-3...

need to clear up a few things what prevents the prop entering reverse in flight. is it. low pitch or hight pitch and on the ground what prevents into going into feather while in beta range.
