Re: Seriously.....Another Maldives Accident?????

... Float pilots... Ocean float pilots... Use your unique skills to judge your landing surface... This is our job/profession.

Fly safe... Saying no to operational pressure is cheaper than 2 wings.

Respectfully,

Im just curious to get some leads on Do's and Dont's for the road into this line of work. Preferred companies and aircraft, ...

Hope youre not thinking Im bashing KB.... They provided me with my footing in aviation. I very much enjoyed my experience there. Every company has its pitt falls including KB... But as for the experience I wouldnt have traded it for anything.

Been a bit since I worked for the red black and white but I did see their pilots at Flight safety in the sim DHC 6. In feb 09. Turtles Pilot is sticking around.... at least for now. The owner does seem to dispatch pilots very rapidly and work conditions are not as great as one may think in Fiji. Richard can be a bit "here and there" with his pilots and all staff. A guy with some good DH2 or DH3 t time would be happie...

Re: Fiji´s licencing

The info above is fairly accurate. PIS is a good way to break the fiji scene. Dusty is very approachable and does require drivers from time to time. One point Id make though is the FIJI busy season runs at the same time the Canuck one does. PAC Sun hires expats and looks for decent DHC6 pilots and i...
