Re: Flair still searching for capital infusion
777 Partners has collapsed, and the debt owing from Flair has been assessed as returning somewhere from zero to 11 cents on the dollar. I wonder if 777's 25% stake will dissolve or be assumed by one of the creditors taking over. Either way it's probably a good thing to be ending that relationship. ...

They will be done by the new year. Looking like this more and more as they're announcing their dollar base fare. https://www.paxnews.com/news/airline/flair-talks-financiers-it-addresses-debt-load-seeks-100m SPirit's share price dropped 30% on news of possible bankruptcy filing. If spirit can't make...

Re: Flair launches one dollar base fares
…not to mention record breaking losses. It’s been attempted before many times and never ended well. SG did the same thing way back when, with their sales and marketing team pole vaulting around the office as the cash flowed in as a result of this sales schemes, albeit at horrible yields. You can’t ...

Re: Pro's and Con's of Porter
From the E2 side of things my observations thus far to add to the replies above. PROS: 1. People and work culture. In general the people you work with, trainers and most of management are wonderful and the environment tends to be positive. 2. Potential to make money. Lot's of open flying and drafts...

Re: The elephant in the room
Not really sure the investment community will be interested in an ipo, particularly because of the lack of good financial track record unfortunately. But of course that could very well improve snd change with time. The verdict is still out. agree, im thinking 3 to 5 years out....ulcc's in U.S now a...

Re: The elephant in the room
Well… looking at FlightRadar24(I spend more time there than this site- perhaps that’s a good thing) on any given day Flair appears to be plying their trade as its fleet is always moving west to east, north to south and back. No adverse media coverage that I have heard about as of late shouldn’t tha...

Re: Air Canada compared to United, by the numbers.
I made a mistake in the first post which I just corrected. The numbers are from 2022, not 2023. 2022 was the only year I compiled the reference salaries for as that was the year that Rosseau started his massive increase in compensation. i just looked at ac management proxy for 2020 and 2024. in 201...

Re: Does ALPA expel pilot groups that lower the bar?
ALPA just released their Economic & Financial analysis report on record profits in the airline industry compounded with a pilot shortage and here we are with marginal gains with a whopping 5 yrs deal. It's astonishingly ridiculous how under performing this profession is doing in execution Enjoy fly...
