AME Licence Verification
Does anybody out there know anything about obtaining a AME LICENCE VERIFICATION. I guess the FAA has it and there is a procedure. I have never heard of it for a Canadian Licence. Is there anyone who can shed some light on this?

AME Licence Renewal
Can somebody out there bring me up to speed on the procedures for renewing a persons Canadian AME Licence? I have been out of the Aviation loop for about 2 and a half years now and my licence expires this July. Is this going to be a problem for me since in the 5 year span of my current issue licence...

Have you noticed there does seem to be a shortage of male testicles in todays society. Looks to me like they are all jumping out of the woodwork in response to my comments. I would not walk the downtown streets of Calgary at night.......nor would I ever walk the streets of Luanda at night. Of course there are incidents but it has been peaceful since the war ended. I have been there 6 months as an engineer....its great. Like the guy said....... he wanted an adventure......

ELT Batteries
As a avionic tech.......I have recertified a number of these ELT..................just go down to the drug store and buy regular batteries of that name and brand and put in....they are good for 2 years. There are no special batteries for this unique type of ELT>
