The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) permits students to claim tuition fees for flight training that are necessary to obtain a licence or rating, up to the minimum flight training requirements set by Transport Canada Geometry Dash Lite

Canada does not allow the conducting of FAA checkrides (including IPCs — Instrument Proficiency Checks) unless done by an FAA-authorized individual operating under an FAA-regulated 141/61 school, DPE, or CFII, which are virtually nonexistent in Canada.
