i was on 3 weeks on and 3 week off , 12 h a day, with an airline in northern quebec who operate twin and king air. now im working 4 on 5 off 5 on 4 off 12 h shift in montreal.

i agree with hangarline but first time you hate to think about yourself, when it come to layoff people because lack of work, compagny dont give a shit about you, business is business, so just enjoy the lack of manpoyer to increase your working condition

when the wage are good, its more atractive for experience guys... and you keep people longer in the compagny, if you treat them good regardless on the salary

Is everybody is buying the cheapest airline ticket when they go on vacation?? Maybe that's why they are trying to reduce salary and condition to keep jobs here instead of sending overhaul work in others country...Because fuel and parts are rising could be an other reason...
