Re: Does anyone know what the MEC is actually trying to get out of the ULP?

“ YUL Pilots, After reviewing the CIRB’s preliminary ruling, the Montreal council’s view is straightforward: we have effectively lost the ULP. With Air Canada released from the file, we are not optimistic that the CIRB will issue a “make whole” remedy. We also believe that the Executive was less focu...

Re: Does anyone know what the MEC is actually trying to get out of the ULP?

The best time to visit Hawaii is generally between March and September, when temperatures are warmest and rainfall is lowest. For fewer crowds and better prices, consider traveling during the shoulder seasons of late spring and fall.

Re: Flight Attendant strike vote opens on July 28th

One thing is for sure, the FA group is far more tenacious and headstrong (ballsy) than AC pilots can ever dream to be. Your FAs have now made you look like wimps and your sudden capitulation at the wrong time in your own negots are revealing of the inadequacies of your group and the false confidence...

Re: Time to end this circus: Claude has to go

From YUL COM: “We may now disclose amounts to the pilots; however, we cannot present the actual Tableau-generated expense reports without executive approval or an MEC majority” The numbers are real and most are gross to even look at. Hold your reps accountable. They work for YOU. Not the other way a...

Re: Time to end this circus: Claude has to go

Article XII, Section 4.A (14) and Article XIII, Section 4.A (13) of C&BL. …any member in good standing can come to the home office and see the books. OR….or they can ask their MEC Executive to honestly provide that info but since the JAZ MEC Executive is far from honest in any way, shape, or form, b...

Re: Time to end this circus: Claude has to go

Nope. Herndon lawyer got into it and confirmed anyone can go and take notes.

Anyone with a DCA or IAD layover ought to make arrangements and go for themselves.

Re: Time to end this circus: Claude has to go

Absolutely accurate. Any pilot can go to Washington and look at the expenses in detail. This is far from a complete list.

Pigs at the trough.

Re: Jaz Executive Spending

The office reno and accoutrements and the vehicle would would be over $1650 per pilot, based on 1200 pilots (there’s probably less), not factoring the FO/CA split.

Where’s our cheques? Oh nevermind, we’re the revenue, not the dues payers.

Re: Jaz Executive Spending

There is only integrity. Not “personal integrity”. Just like there is only the truth. Not this “my truth” stuff.

The attempts at misdirection to make this about GR instead of CB are obvious, and laughable.

I agree that change is coming.

Re: Jaz Executive Spending

Not sure we have that many 10 year FOs left so I’m pretty sure another “younger generation” pilot will fill that spot eventually. This is less a reflection of any work he did. It’s the current ethical thing he should have been doing now for his dues paying pilots that he failed to do I assume. Rudde...

Re: Jaz Executive Spending

A message from your JAZ 220 FO rep To the pilots of the Montreal base, The current situation inside our local YUL council is simply unsustainable for me. Re: Jaz Executive Spending

Who is CR? You mean CB? If it comes to a recall vote at some point, that’s when we will know the plan. If it gets to a vote, it will most likely be because the votes are there to recall and the plan is in place I assume. When CB was first voted in, by recall, that’s pretty much how it happened. GR h...

Re: Jaz Executive Spending

CB is not necessary to complete the ULP work. Not only did he say so himself to everyone, changes at the top of organizations happen all the time. It just happened at Jazz in fact. The sky didn’t fall. And the sky won’t fall once CB is recalled or resigns or is voted out. Those who think only he can...

Re: Jaz Executive Spending

Doing OT as a rep is controversial for some, less so for others as long the rep does their ALPA work diligently. GR was NGC for a reason. He was selected above all others to do this important work. He only left due to CB’s complete disregard for transparency to the MEC. Doing OT is called earning yo...
