Re: Cessna crash near Orangeville Ontario
Just want to make it clear. No one has had any limbs removed. The pilot is improving every day. the man in the right seat is having some difficulty but that is to be expected. He is on life support. the guy in the back is at home . God willing they will be back with their friends very soon.

Re: Aerocourse
I love the Aerocoarse as well. Imake a lot of money briefing people who fail the written after taking the class. I'm sure it's good for some but you have to be prepared before you attend.

Having celebrated 40 years in aviation this May, I am starting to show a little gray. I'm with DOC, all pilots under 50 should be grounded, that would reduce air fatalities by 95 percent. On a serious note, maybe it's time to look at the medical standards for all pilots. Raising them by adding a few...

You also have to confirm that your class 4,3,2,1 who trained you for your instrument training had an instrument rating otherwise you will need at least 15 hour of training with an instrument instructor a little different than just a flying instructor. Most instructors have instrument ratings but if ...

What DOC said, maybe I talk to much, the ride was a good briefing and I enjoyed craking a few jokes. It was long but a good experience. At no time did I feel I was failing in any way. The air time was only 1.3 fight time. DOC I straped on a C172 for that ride. I do not fit with an inspector in a C150.

Lowering flaps in a turn is fine as long as you are prepared for the famous flap failure. One flap stops working while the other keeps going. The PA31 is famous for this and has the flaps restricted to 25 in some of the models. Others had a fix done to the flap system to help prevent this. It is sti...
