You blokes should go read my story in classic topics .... page 13 to be exact ... where I witnessed a Cessna 206 amphib flip over only yards from where I was waiting for it to come and pick me up. In that story , I later on took advice from Cat Driver and I never , never failed to utter these words ...

From the air , our camp , consisting of five tents and an outhouse adorned with the tradional half moon peephole , looked rather inviting as it was perched high on a bank overlooking a river , a green rushing glacial torrent still carving away at its winter mantle of ice that often tore off large ...

There was a bomber built for WW2 called the Martin B26 Marauder that was a little ahead of its time in that it gained its high performance with a small laminar flow wing but too many pilots were lost during training or with real engine failures causing the aircraft to roll onto its back and crash. T...

The pilot of the A26 was a friend of mine , Butch Foster , one of the best pilots I know. Butch did the right thing in rejecting the take-off but the A26 is a very high performance aircraft and was going very fast when he rejected. He is in good spirits and is recovering from leg injuries. I hope to...

For a ...

The job in Peace River Alberta had gone quite smoothly considering I was a new Captain on the Casa 212 and the flat terrain of Alberta made it easy to master the art of EM survey flying which was very different from straight Magnetometer flying I had been doing up on James Bay (Attawapaskat) in a ...

Terorism. Yes it is finally rearing its ugly head here in Canada .

Brian Mulroney has infiltrated Air Canada , this being a flagrant demonstration of a COMPLETE loss of integrity. Why does that mongrel need to involve himself with Air Canada when he has already made tens of millions off AC already?

Money and greed.

You can rest assured that the proprietors of the resturant had no say in this matter.

The airport manager , who leases the land to a farmer, should pay more attention to local permanent businesses.

Firstly , I thank Doug Copeland for allowing me to visit the Terry Fox legend of courage.

I read it slowly as it made my pain slip away for the time .... courage ...true , true courage.

Fotoflyer , I thank you too. I spend less time on the couch now , after reading that.
