From an employers viewpoint WCB is about as useless as they come - right on par with TC. What province are you in? WCB seems to live by their "policies" and ignore whats in the legislation. I am fighting with them right now on a discrepancy between the legislation and what their "policy papers" say....

Going back to the original title, The only thing high risk about instructing is dealing with a buearcratic machine (aka TCCA). Just read the part about employers and credit checks. Now weve seen it all. I am an employer myself (and formerly an employer in aviation) and I cannot see the logic behind getting a credit check for employees. hmmmph, old nick dosnt work. Anyways, DO NOT PAY A COLLECTION AGENCY DIRECTLY. If you must pay TC your fee (ie. you feel like they deserved it for not sending you your AIP inserts), do it direct to them. Collection agencies will tell you anything to part with your money, even if they can get one pen...
