Any Danish Pilots out there that know if there is an air charter service operating out of Copenhagen doing private charters ... PC12 maybe / King Air? Thanks.

Re: 2 by 4’s inside a 180
yes they will fit. But easiest with front and back seats out and door off but they will go in with the door on but will take two people to load them. Make sure they are secured well so they can't get at your rudder peddle and can basically stack them up to where they don't interfere with controls.

Re: Can you bring a float plane home in the GTA?
Better options to park an amphib on dry land down there and not have to worry about big lake problems. 180-185-206 depending on the size of your family. Would be a perfect scenario, or better than pounding up your plane trying to get to your home dock. Or charter off the island and not have to worry...

If you get off track to the east, we have fuel in Huntsville. Should be a nice trip. Pretty civilized all the way.

Hey Guys & Gals, need help. I have a glass fuel bowl (gascolator) for my C180 missing in the mail. Was sent from Montreal on May 10th, expresspost with tracking. The tracking is not working and I have no idea where it is and desperately need it by this Thurs. It many show but might not. Does anyone ...

Re: Commuting by air to my flying job
No mention here that your $60K truck is worth $40K a year later and your plane is still worth pretty much what you paid for it. And for those that own(ed) a 6 ltr. ford diesel all know what it's like to spend $5K on head gaskets at 100,000 - 120,000kms. My concerns would be to purchase the plane wit...

Re: Commuting by air to my flying job
I flew my float plane to an Island where I was working for a buddy doing masonry work. After the first week he asked me not to fly... took me .5 from my house or almost 1.5 by truck with a 20 minute boat ride in there. Asked why? Said the owner we were working for accused him of over charging if his...

Iridium Sat Phone
Does anyone have a SIM CARD for an Iridium that has minutes that will run out before you use them up? This happens to me every year, so thought I'd try to find one with a month or 2 left before I buy one for 6 months and need it for 2 only to have all the minutes expire. Northern Lights or better wo...

Re: Float Plane Insurance
Got a 180 on floats that I will be selling or looking for a partner. I am CPL and will be bringing it home from Northern Quebec. 10 hours flying time right there. Sometimes it takes a day, sometimes a week. Will be doing this sometime in late Aug. Get 10 hours in the plane and decide if it is a 180 ...

Not older than 72 but I sure like to see him show up at the dock at camp every summer. He is a great role model and an awesome individual. Wish him the best in continuing the traditions. Thanks, Johnny.

Re: Bush plane capable of carrying ATVs?
If it hasn't already been mentioned, not homebuilt but Single otter will do it and there are some amphib ones around. Once this person goes and gets a pilots lic. he will better understand the costs involved to own and operate an aircraft to do this specific job and if that doesn't scare him.... I w...

Thinking about it, I've bought 100LL by the drum and had it delivered to the lake in Matagami if that is anywhere close to your location.

Re: Getting quantities of AVGAS for Hunting Camp
$700.00 / drum incl. $50.00 deposit... so $3.17 / ltr last summer in YVP My pump is GPI, not sure what make the filter is, but electric is way better than "wobble" pumps, unless you're talking about a couple of drums. If it's for the season then electric is the way to go and a small solar panel will...
