Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

Will not be DOH, Will not be bottom of the list.

It will be a form of ratio, which will still need to be determined. If we can all agree on that, this will be much less painful

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

The deal isn't done yet. It's only an amended price per share which will need to be approved by the shareholders. You are correct. However if you look at the current economic climate and what the options are; 1) Potential risk of losing everything, or 2) Take a small lose and salvage a little bit.

If you look at the new website it clearly states hondajet, king air, citation, and challenger. What comes with the aircraft is the hanger space.

Re: Fast Air

Unless they have bought another one, the Honda Jet is managed. haha, unless the fractional is now with that owner. I knew they were getting cramped for hangar space in Winnipeg, but this seems to be an over reaction :-D Impressive though, wish them all the best! Are they selling shares in Winnipeg a...

I know one person that has the TBM under the private operators document. It is purely to utilize the Ops Spec for RVSM.

PM sent to you.

tbayav8er, with only 1000 PIC Q400 I would say that most of your pic time is on the Q which would lead me to believe that your younger generation which was very fortunate to walk into a great airline job. Cuddos to you if this is the case, however the down side is that, if that is the case the insur...

It's almost as if WJ is trying to repeat history. So many have intended to run out of YHM only to slide over to YYZ.

CCAA requires court approval. You can't just declare bankruptcy.

Correct. As I have stated in other threads, I do not for a second believe that any airline would be denied when they are blowing millions per day with zero end in site.

Re: Chapter 11.

While all the Canadian airlines have a healthy bank account, I feel (only due to my pure hatred of the liberals) that all companies should file Chapter 11. Could you imagine the shit show in YOW if AC, WS, TS, Sunwing and the likes say enough is enough we can't shed anymore, only way out is Chapter...

What surprises me the most is two fold: firstly, young pilots entering the industry believe that when you hit 16000 hours with 10K hours heavy turboprop command plus thousands of hours on multiengine sea aircraft that you are automatically employable when the industry tanks and a few job adds start...

Ahh, thanks. Curious, 77 recalls but 600 layoffs. MMM, why would there be recalls in this case? Originally it was 675 layoffs but they were on CEWS, which kept getting an extension, this time though both the company and the union attempted to get clarification on the “new” CEWS so they could make an...

Ya'll need to chill out. Did 320 say fetch a cup of coffee? Yes, right after all the AC guys keep hammering on about how we bring down the industry and that we are nothing. So if you take that as coming for your jobs, than you need to re-read the thread, be open minded about the prospect and how we ...

Correct. However I do not believe it would be to hard for any airline to get protection when they show that at current cash flow rates there will be zero cash in 5-6 months.
