The industry sucks now either way. I have 1500 hours and am still instructing because nobody seems to be hiring. Didnt get anything back from Air Sprint.. I have a current MIFR, and an aviation degree... and still nothing. Its extreamly frustrating.. Im starting to loose interest in instructing but...

Got the PFO letter as well.
Went face-to-face interview mid June.
Rumours says a bunch of SkyService jet time folks got laid off and Porter took them all.

Welcome to the club SonicSTi :D some have their offers pretty quickly, during a couple of weeks form the interview,… the others like me almost for 3 months in the limbo…by the way what did they say to you for how long it would take these days to wait for response, just curious? Sounds like lots of demand from Porter.
Is that also mean a lot of movement from GGN, Skylink, etc...???

I've got interview in mid June, no feedback yet.
For those who got interview on Island, how long do they send YES/NO notification??

Took the A-Course, wrote the exam 1 week later. Worth spending the money. Things clarifies more after the course.
Got pretty much the same questions as ~Hollywood~, but quite few questions on Sig Charts and Prog Charts.

I would vote for route #1. Stick with your good pay job, get the training done asap.
Companies look at your Flight Time. Dispatch experience helps, but still, I think flight time is the most important among all.
