I drove a concrete mixer truck for years to get through flight school, and still do for extra cash. Working full time I was grossing between 65 and 70k/year, most of it in the 8 months of the busy season. I worked the occasional Saturday, and had every Sunday off and slept in my own bed. It's a job ...

Yeah, where's everyone's unions now? People need to learn to stand up and pull their heads out of the sand. There's always signs when companies start falling apart. Quit thinking unions are doing the best for you, because they are not. Start talking to the people that actually write your paycheck.

Find something you enjoy that there's a market for and stick with it. Everyone flocks to the airlines, but quite frankly I think in 10 or 20 years airlines will be a dead end. Find something to have fun at that a computer can't do.

We can only hope that said person had to result to such tactics, they probably won't be be in business much longer. It's no wonder with that kind of attitude.
