Met him / helped him last year while working the hot ramp at the ybw airshow - nicest guy you'd ever want to meet - friendly, courteous, great sense of humor - instantly likable. So sad to hear about this yesterday - my deepest condolences to his family and friends - such a loss.

if he refueled it and managed to make a successful takeoff and got it back onto the runway and tied down - would anyone be the wiser?
Would it be a reportable incident (in theory no damage, no injuries)?

How many times does this happen in a year and nobody knows about it?

It would be awesome if you could show areas notam'd for forest fires, military exercises etc. Just a shaded or outlined area on the google map using the coordinates listed in the notam. Maybe show restricted altitudes within the shaded areas.
