I don't believe 08/26 has vasi lights, and at 40' wide at night it looks like you're coming in high if you're used to wider runways.

08 has a displaced threshold. There's a small tree at the railroad crossing/entrance to BFC maybe 300-400 ft from the end of the runway. They must have been low.

Yeah, I agree with Truthteller, I almost smashed into another car while driving up Woodbine because I could not keep my eyes off the aircraft landing onto 33... The airport is dangerous. If the build another 60 story eyesore maybe that will keep my eyes on the traffic.

See if you can buy into a fractional share of an aircraft like a 172 or warrior (1/4 share of a $40K a/c) and do all your training in it. There are some class 1's that do freelance for $30-40 /hr.
