Borden Flying Club has a lovely Cessna Cardinal 177B as well. Slightly more expensive / hour but much less of a buy in! Located at Edenvale Airport. www.bordenflyingclub.com
Enjoy. After 28 years generally not flying smaller single engine aircraft I am having a riot!

Thats pretty frickin impressive! I don't care how many ground up Lada's were used during the construction. Truly a spectacle!

My mistake... the landing gear is there but the engines and rotors are gone. There has to be a good story there!

Re: Ornge Revisited
Here is a few of the questions I have that interest and concern me as a taxpayer. Please add your questions or insight on the matter. Lets unelect these Liberal criminals. I am guessing crimes have been committed by the dozen all the way up to the Premieres office. How many aircraft were purchased b...

Ornge Revisited
As I suspected it is my belief that Ornge bought the fleet of Canadian Helicopters for an undisclosed amount of money and I also suspected the fleet of aging Sikorsky's would be worthless for anyone else to potentially operate other than Canadian Helicopters. Apparently all the Sikorsky's are for sa...

Re: Manitoba broke rules with STARS contract: auditor genera
You have to love social media and the internet because it is slowly bringing these scandalous criminals to justice. As soon as people begin to realize that someone very high up in the Premier's office had something to do with this handout the better off our nation will be. Do we think anything untow...

Re: Any pilots here know what to do with a fearful passenger
4 or 5 whiskeys and a couple valiums often work well !! I have a friend whose daughter screamed at the top of her lungs for the push back and taxi out in Orlando on a Sunwing flight. She was clawing at the windows and trying literally to tear her way out of the 737. Captain finally taxied back to th...

Re: Aviation Document Booklet - Expiration
My advice to you if you really feel that strongly about the 40 dollar fine is not to worry about it. In all reality when was the last time you were ramped. I do show my licence regularly to US Customs. The booklet rarely leaves my hands and all they want too see is a valid medical. If on the 2 in 16...

I would suggest you get hold of Luenenberger Air Service firstly and Nakina Air Service both in Nakina and ask them some questions and they may be able to direct you to someone that might know. I doubt they know themselves. Some of the First Nations crowd in the area would know some elders that may ...

Re: Urgent passport renewal
In the Mississauga office I have had pilots that did not have a blank page left which is needed to get a Russian Visa. We gave them a letter from the company and the went first thing in the morning and picked the new passport up in the early afternoon. The letter is good but you always have the opti...

Re: Warbirds boneyard
There are tons of old birds at every Russian airport I have been to... Most of the Eastern Block Euro states as well. I was in UHPP Petropovlask (I can never spell that one) last week and saw all kinds of old cold war stuff. It was quite a site!

Yes you have the facts correct on both the Webbwood and Espanola West airport. I am not sure if the Agnew strip is still useable. The crash at Espanola was horrific. I believe the victims all jumped out of the burning a/c that was in the trees... When they were on the ground below the a/c, all the f...

Re: Ornge-The truth is emerging (finally)
I found an interesting post by Smitherman that can be taken in many ways.... It was in the online responses to the article by Cohn. It says a lot if you read between the lines!! I don't like Smitherman at all but at least he responded! Unlike the Ornge clowns! The ORNGE debacle's political roots, De...

I have to say that my first 2 instructors on my PPL were the best!
Both Mel Laidlaw and John Nagy at Sudbury Aviation were excellent career type instructors and were awesome. It was great to do my first solo on skis and then do it over again a month later on floats!!

Re: Ornge-The truth is emerging (finally)
The newspapers and opposition parties should be calling for a full judicial enquiry and bring all the players to the table. Every air ambulance company in Ontario will likely have plenty to say about this! I have a funny feeling they have been gagged by Ornge if they wanted any further business!!!!

Re: Ornge-The truth is emerging (finally)
It was certainly interesting to watch this story unfold because it has been a ridiculous debacle since day one. The real details of this whole scandal tend to be here say. Unfortunately I believe the leader of this web of companies have had some very talented help hiding the money in the various fou...
