Re: Getting Back Into It
I guess I should have been a bit more specific. I never did get multi or ifr ratings and I'm not looking to proceed with flying as a career. I am only looking to fly recreational as a private pilot. My medical is current for a ppl, within 60 months. I will start with the AIM and dig up a POH for a 1...

Getting Back Into It
Hello, I received my commercial license back in 2007 and right after decided to change my career path. It has been about 6 years since I have last flown but I would like to get back into it now that I have some disposable income. My question is, being out of flying for this long, what should I read ...

Re: Lonely Pilot in the Peace Country
I have talked to them already. They don't rent unless you have completed a license or rating there. I even asked if that rule was seasonal since I figured training would slow down in the winter but they are firm with it all year. Oh well, I may have to wait until I go home over xmas.

Lonely Pilot in the Peace Country
Hello, Earlier this summer I moved to Grande Prairie for a job. I was hoping to be able to get in some flight time but as it turns out there is no place I could find on the airport who rents! I would love to meet someone with an aircraft who would be willing to take me for a flight since it has been...

Georgi!
Georgianna recommended me for my commercial ride back in May. Later that evening, after I passed, we celebrated both that and her 21st birthday. I just want to thank her for everything she's done for me. She will be missed. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

Aerobatic training in alberta?
I am wondering where in Southern Alberta offers aerobatic training? What are the details about it, is it a rating or an endorsement? How many hours of flying is involved? Thanks.

Ok, one more for today. I dont have my license so I dont get aip updates yet and I think mine is out of date. Also I am forgetting what one of them told me, so that is what started the confusion. :? Anyway, it is about short and soft field take offs, ...
