You got that right Illya,it was awsome flying fat ass Minnisotans to out posts for 35 years, but it does'nt come close to skippering a yacht full of topless Sweedish women in the tropics while sipping on a cold one, listning to Jimmy Buffet..in January.so I'm buying a second boat this year...Napolean

Re: More than Flying!
Thats what I've been doing for years.I started off, flying float planes in the summer and being a divemaster in the winter, somewhere warm. That soon became being a captain on sailboat charters, which grew to bying my own boat and doing charters. So,I am always on the water.Last week I delivered a yacht ...

Simple work out of YVR ,but live in Richmond...that way you get to work for a Canadian company AND experiance a different culture. Cause I don'think you really want to leave and go too far from home..and then you can always drive to Surrey for yet another culture and be home in time for Moms cooking...

Re: Where's the best place for a family - Summer Float Job?
There are perfect family jobs out there..I've been doing quite well at them..I found ,now though, school is a bigger problem. Before school started ,the whole family would go north for the summer and have an awsome time.I'd be home everynight, most afternoons and more time than not, home in time for bru...

Your welcome Scandi. After all,the "Zeppelin" was a German invention.AND,if it wasn't for many young German pilots,I might have been brought up a city boy.My Grandfather and family lived in London in 1940,and by the end of Sept, figured it wasn't the best place to be,so he bought and moved to a farm i...

I don't think you did say you had a problem with Germans, and I didn't say you had a problem with "Germans".You just made a stupid joke, ridiculing someone, you knew to be ,coinsidentally,German.
