I ask this question in a general sense, and not as it pertains to Fast Air specifically, but what is the benefit (legal or otherwise) of an operator voluntarily surrendering it's OC? Is it purely to save face?
Also, who are the other five operators providing medevac services in MB?

Re: Any ramp positions in nothern ontario?
Hey just curious if anyone knows any ramp or entry level pilot positions up in nothern ontario these days? I have 200hours, I am fresh out of college. Do yourself a favor and focus all of your efforts on finding a PILOT job, not a ramp job. I know it can be difficult finding that first job, but I d...

Great. Too bad you have to live in a cultureless melting pot. No thanks. Enjoy your 19K. I'll enjoy life in Canada. As a side note, I find it so entertaining that ex-pats feel like they have to post and thread like this as though to justify and peacock to the rest of the industry about how great th...

I believe you have NATS to thank for that abbreviation.
As to KAFUFO and MEL...........Ouch baby, very ouch.
I was actually giving props (no pun) to you guys with the "south Perimeter" comment.

Re: why ATC should have a aviation back ground
Kafufo - you're being somewhat ignorant with your comments. As someone else pointed out, just as you (I presume) don't know the first thing about the systems and procedures used by controllers, we cannot expect them to understand the trivialities of a "vacuum failure". I don't think the link you pos...

Re: NACair OPERATIONS HAVE CEASED AT THIS TIME.
So other than Sprint, Bravo, Wasaya (?) looking - who else might be looking for experienced PC12 drivers? Lets help these guys/gals out. Times sure are good right now though, I'm sure most, if not everyone will be able to find something. Now might be your chance to get that job closer to home/friend...

Not a bad deal if that is the case. Anyone know what sort of time they want other than an ATPL?

Adlair job posting.
In their job posting, they state that they do three week rotations to Canadian "cities". Just wondering which city/cities?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: SARON
I agree; the version that I received for the SARON was quite a bit different than the Aerocourse workbook, however there was still much in common. I would still recommend the aerocourse (especially for the SAMRA), but be sure to back it up by going through the study and reference guide on the TC web...

U.S. Notams
Anyone know of a site/online tutorial where I could get information on how to read coded U.S. Notams. Some of them can be a little confusing.
Thanks!

Thanks!

Better idea: Find someone else that wants to do the same thing. Buy a Cessna 152 together - not too many hours on the airframe or engine, with working avionics. Run it on a mogas STC. Get a freelance instructor to teach both of you all the way through ppl, night, time building, cpl. Sell the buck f...
