Re: Navajo crash on final for YVR?
widow, you have nothing to do with aviation....GO AWAY..stop editing my posts, you sad sack old lady....It would be nice to grieve about lost friends and not have you get in your two cents and useless aviation opinion. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a mod here and as such will edit posts of whomev...

Re: Today's Province Newspaper and Transport Canada
., No one is getting paid off, I am fairly sure of that. They just take the easiest way out of any potential liability situation. It's easier for them if we don't fly. That's all. I wish they would take a bribe. the only ones getting paid off is the big hotel in Tofino who keep promoting these shit...

2R, What are you talking about? EDITED What i was trying to talk about was the sensless deaths caused by criminal negligence by the scumbag operators that you seem to want to defend. What i was talking about was how sad it is that these three crashes happend when if the rules and standards had of b...

Re: Today's Province Newspaper and Transport Canada
The engine temp limits had been exceeded prior to the accident but after the overhaul (due to a hot start). The automatic trend monitoring recorded the overtemp but the engine was not removed for inspection because the DOM was not downloading the information. Even if he had recorded the info, the e...

Re: Today's Province Newspaper and Transport Canada
If Navair couldnt make it longterm, nobody will......... Why do you think Navair closed their doors? Well, I think the owner had enough of all of the bullshit that goes on in 703 on the coast. That combined with headaches from TC and the problems with the unfortunate accidents that happened. I dont...

Re: Today's Province Newspaper and Transport Canada
Pilots are their own worst enemies.. Now you are talking sense. If pilots would quit working for peanuts and tell the operators to go @#$! them selves when the employer wants them to fly junk into crap weather overloaded the industry wouldn't need TC. I hope that day comes soon. Then mayb...

Re: Today's Province Newspaper and Transport Canada
Blame it on TC all you want BUT......................... Pilots are their own worst enemies...set after set continue to put up with the same shi*ty wages, flying older, hard used aircraft into bad weather. Hasnt anyone clued in that management wages in 703 are almost three times higher than pilot wa...

Re: Today's Province Newspaper and Transport Canada
So if a part fails due to the absence of following correct produres (as mandated by TC), the company is not liable because they were not aware of the pending failure? Following this logic, one could not be responsible for hitting a mountain if they never read a map that said the mountain was there?...

I m surprised the news hasnt brought up anything up about that website that was put out about SonicBlue... I believe it (the website) was shut down the day of the crash.. When you try and promote safety you get labeled as a troublemaker who is trying to stir the pot.... www.sonicblueair.ca was the h...

Re: Orca flying YYJ-YXX?
As for crews i do not think you can really say the original pilots are any better then the pilots that are there now unless your a judge for some sort of pilot competition contest. The funny thing is we are probably friends. 1. Pilots at Orca don't pay for PPC's. 2. I am civil with the owner. 3.Pla...

Re: Orca flying YYJ-YXX?
I haven't heard of any pay for your ppc at all anywhere. But i do think training bonds that totally favor companies can be just as bad, and are discussed heavily on here. I spoke with the owners of Orca and have friends who fly there, and all this talk is based on past anger. If you haven't let it ...

Re: Immitation as Flattery
Airtids, This is nothing new at AVACANADA, do you recall the 2,000+ views that the SONICBLUEAIR.CA site had?? The owner of a competitng company realized that SONIC had not bought the .ca version of SONICBLUEAIR.CA, he then purchased it under his own name and put up all of SONICBLUE's cadors reports ...
