I still think it is much easier just to go to ATP inc. whom I gave the link for in my first post. The program was five days long, and on the first day you sat at a computer and memorized the correct answers for the actual part 121 exam, leaving enough time at the end of the day to write the test. Da...

great post

A great post Sulako, would love to hear more about the company, it sounds like a great place to work. Just the kind of position I long for one day. I would probably turn down AC in a heart beat. West Jet on the other hand??....lol

Have fun!

question for pc-12 pilots

Split S,

I am just curiouse as to every ones time and how they sit in relation to mine. I recently broke 5000 hours on the PC-12 (out of 8000 total). I did not realy want to post this for fear of some one thinking I was bragging.

trip to FLA.

When I do long distance traveling, to an area I am unfamiliar with, I use http://www.airnav.com . Click on Aviation Fuel, and then trip planner. It will give you a few routes, up to 10, and provide cost of gas along the way. Because Airnav is planning for low cost fuel, it keeps you away from the ex...

Doc;

I do not think you should have any problems as I was flying a U.S registered A/C in Canada all of last summer and just recently returned it to the states. Check your PM's as I have included some lengthy information FYI.

A question for NW ontario pilots

I am planning on flying into many communities in NW Ontario some time soon (IE: From about Red Lake North to north west). I am wondering if phones are available at the "terminals" in any of these places to open and close flight plans or is it best done through the RCO in the area? Or would it be eas...

why I miss the old engines....

Why I miss the old DH Beaver --- We gotta get rid of turbines, they are ruining aviation. We need to go back to big round engines. Anybody can start a turbine, you just need to move a switch from "OFF" to "START," and then remember to move it back to "ON" after a while. My PC is harder to start. Cra...
