CYVR Shutdown?
Its 1815 on Friday Jan. 5th, 2007. I heard that CYVR internatinal flights have been cancled or massivly delayed. On the news it said that some male had too much liquid in his carry on, was to go back and give it to his non flying family, but was not screened upon returning. Now everything is shut do...

imperial los perals in Canucn. 400 bucks for a 3 star all inclusive, with free shuttle to downtown bars. FYI they cut you off at 11pm, so ask the bartender for a few extra beers to put in your fridge for the lady friends after hours. Great hotel, with friendly staff, pool, beach, and free sailing pm...

[quote="w squared"]I didn't forget about anything, Hollywood. Two years in the reserves is a valuable experience, and I would not trivialize it. However, if it did indeed make you into a paragon of military knowledge and wisdom, then you'd probably be able to skip right over all that annoying BOTC a...

A bit of defensivness perhaps, but mostly expressions of frustration with the paternalistic and condescending attitudes of some within the reg force. Too many are too quick to believe their own bullshift about their own superiority, and therefore, falsely believe all their ideas and methods are bet...

"Presently, the CIC is the largest officer corps in the CF, numbering between 5,000 and 6,000 members. As mentioned above, the CIC is a branch of the Canadian Forces, on an equal footing with the Infantry, Armoured Corps, Logistics, Naval Operations and Air Operations." Basic Officer Qualification C...

A distinctly different animal than cadet officers. While those individuals do hold a comission and thus are technically "salute-able", many of them make officer cadets seem like squared-away paragons of military virtue and knowledge. Ok...who's confused? Officer Cadet or OCDT. is a rank held by Off...

well as far as I know to be an Officer. one has to be commissioned. On every base ive been on a sergent major and CWO have been NCO’s… A sergent major sometimes will tell a capt. to get his hair cut, but in all fairness they still salute an officer. I see by your picture, you have a marine avatar, b...

Hey, I have to do a report on the changing geography of an airport. I found some usefull pictures/images/stats on the current YVR webpage. I just need some information on YVR in the past... for example when it was made, how many runways/length at the start, and some pics.

Yeah, it seemed to me every single NCO recruiter eat paint chips as a child. As well on IAP and BOTC I could not believe the "talent" of some of the future CF pilots, and in general other Officers. When I thought that some of these people made it in over some of my friends, I felt a sick feeling in ...

Paris Hilton
Was watching CNN at work today, and a 2 minute story on the rape and murder of women in Africa was on. Along the "ticker" on the bottom, it said Paris Hiltons DUI hearing is being postponed until Novemeber. Is this really news?? I mean with all the crap going on in the world, does CNN (the self acla...
