What’s the hiring requirements lately? My thousands of PIC king air hours didn’t make the cut a few months back.
NickyNick, is that you?
Perhaps it’s not your ‘thousands of… hours’ that’s holding you back?

Re: Hip Replacement

‘Twas me. Probably 10 years ago, now..co-worker fell off a ladder in the off-season, adn had his hip replaced. He was back and at it the next summer. Didn’t seem to be any complications that were noticeable, or that he complained about.. I’d imagine that you’ll lose your medical for ~6 months? The o...

Perhaps look for a B17 type? That would nicely round off the Boeing 7 line..

1.) Apply to both, and take whichever one will have you first.
2.) [Assuming she’s American] Slap the biggest ring you can find on that gal ASAP, and start the clock running on the path to a greencard/citizenship.

This is tragic. What an effed-up situation.
Only met her once, in passing, many years ago.
MY thoughts and condolences to her family, and those who knew her.

Re: Does this mean Pasco might actually have to disclose their "NEW PAY SCALE?"

It would seem to me that the reporter didn’t really read the bill. I think that PASCO falls in line in either ‘25 or ‘26. Carson already posts their scale  I guess no need to post those pay scales on the actual job posting. Had to dig for it http://www.avcanada.ca/forums2/viewtopic.php?t=2030...

It would seem to me that the reporter didn’t really read the bill. Seeing here full pax/bags limits the fuelweight allowed to be taken up for W&B legality, sometimes it’s going to be a lighter weight fuel drawn from underground warmth, as possibly here. It also can be at a max age and at a min octane cut for the grade … all combining to consume it slightly faster ...

Re: Fatal helicopter crash Prince George

I did hear a bit on this last night from a good source. Six people in a Long Ranger. Confined space vertical takeoff. On clearing canopy, wind change that put the wind on the tail. LTE and into the trees. Apparently not a commercial operator. I'm surprised Canfor would put their contractors into a ...

Re: I give up on Canadian airlines

It’s funny how 25, 30 years ago, people were leaving Canada for greener pastures as the upgrade times were so long at AC, Canadian, Time and AirBC/Nova -even though the pay was pretty decent for the time. Now, even though upgrade times are lower, people are going because the pay is crap…
