Re: New MOA details
Some changes to reserve: -To help comply with CARs requirements, introduced new Reserve language (using similar concept to other airlines’ system of Best Fit) -( I’ll call that a minor give as the new RAP was complicating things anyway ) -Expanded Reserve patterns to promote days off in order of sen...

Re: Write the MEC
Sorry guys we’re adults, the company negotiated with our union and they brought it to us. That’s how a democracy works. Life is too short to continue down this path of always complaining of everything the company does. I voted no and the majority won ........ simple, I accept the results. Move on bo...

Re: Cargo TA
One LEC chair that won ( well nobody ran against him ) and 2 National MEC members in positions now, but lost in their local base elections. All three are P4C...... my point is they ran on a platform of change. 18 days a month, 10% less ,no bunks?? And it seems they never pushed back over this Cargo ...

Re: How to get rid of ACPA?
BTD,
Can you explain how scope will be affected come Oct 01/20 with a positive acceptance of the MOA#2?
Thanks, sometimes people get lost in their emotions and type what they assume might happen at the worst possible time.

Re: How to get rid of ACPA?
So we get an increase from 55 to 63 hours as a minimum per month. The fixed rate pilots are paid 75 hours and rightly so, we left them to eat “click ham” for the last six months. I’m almost leaning towards yes just for these guys/gals. No more than the 600 pilots on the street and rescinding the 87 ...

Re: How to get rid of ACPA?
Tony couldn’t accept that his opinions sometimes were not always accepted with the praise and accolades that he thought they warranted. The results were often half truths, conspiracy theories against union leaders posted on ... I always enjoyed his posts but over the years it just seemed to get a li...

I made some inquiries, seems nobody wants to talk about it to me.
Just with an annoying text, “things are in motion ...don’t stick my nose where it doesn’t belong.”

Re: How to get rid of ACPA?
I do remember a few weeks ago in the YYZ crew room a pilot showing my F/O a website regarding change designed by a junior group of frustrated pilots.
I only got “ heresay” so cant comment any further.
Anyone else heard of this?

I’ve heard plans of returning with only 39-737’s and 22-Q400’s. What are the plans for the 787’s and the 767’s? Initially parking or any being returned ?
Good luck to all, hope for a quick return.

Profit Sharing this April ?
With regards to the profit share, I spoke with a union rep who seems to not be up to speed with respect to whether we will be receiving it this April. My wife who’s a FA mentioned she read somewhere that they’ll still receive theirs. On the 737, this might be my one and only time to complete my man ...

Where did some of you guys come from, like come on. I believe Gord came from an airline family whose father was at Air Canada. He grew up wanting to be an airline pilot..... Period. Moving from the DC3 to the C47 no operator is going to give a rats ass about that endorsement. 6 years at Buffalo to b...

Re: How Air Canada pilots treat their passengers!
The problem is Yannick Charland is an ACPA union councillor based here in Toronto. He just made a comment against our President for not knowing how to talk to a National Post reporter. It's called irony Yannick. As an instructor I can teach someone to fly the airbus, but I can't teach common s...
