BCAS fixed wing contract

It was announced last week that Carson Air was awarded the BCAS fixed wing contract for the entire province except for Prince George, NT air was awarded that contract. It's unfortunate to see a good company like Helijet lose the jet contract. A company which treats it employs well and actually follo...

Re: Ramp Jobs At YVR?

Your best bet would be working for one of the FBOs. All three locations pay their line guys a fairly good wage and schedule while you're completing your flight training. It also gives you the opportunity to meet alot of different people in various position of aviation. However I'm pretty sure that b...

Re: Meadowbank strip near Baker Lake

Are you referring to the ice strip?

I know a few companies have taken their B1900s in there.

The guys at your company who had very little PIC time have had to spend time on the 100 before getting their ATPL.

Morningstar

Morningstar currently runs a corporate 604 which is completely seperate from the cargo division. Its owned by four different groups out of Edmonton. I'm surprised its taken this long to get another aircraft considering how much the 604 flies.

I don't know much other than they took over a company in Norway which operates DHC-8 and DHC-6.

A little while back I noticed a job posting from CHC for a fixed wing CP. Correct me if I'm wrong , but I think they were looking to get the fixed wing side of things on their Canadian OC.

West Country Photo

Does anyone know what the working conditions are like with West Country Photo?

How many hours would you be able to build in a season with them?

Cheers

They were looking for someone at the start of June, so the position is mostly likely filled. If however its still open then they're probably looking for someone with 5000 hours and corporate time.
