Re: Trevor Jacob "staged" plane crash
when he jumped, his headset was still around the neck. Huge safety issue, he could have been killed with the headset flopping around like that. sheesh, don't they learn, unplug when exiting the airplane.

Re: What’s going on Sunwing?
Many years ago I was called for an interview. They wanted me to pay for the flight to YYZ. I'm thinking you want me to come for an interview and pay for my way. No thanks. They sent a couple of emails asking if I was still interested. I said no Thanks, I'll stay where I am.

Re: Will Westjet survive?
WestJet not going anywhere. It will survive albeit a smaller airline. Onex spent billions on it purchase and will work towards making it a leaner meaner carrier. WestJet is no longer a small 2 province carrier. The bean counters will look at all aspects of the operation and see where cuts will be ma...

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
I heard a couple of guys got called within 3 weeks of interview even though they were told 8-12 weeks. Another guy was emailed a pfo within 4 weeks of interview. Yes I have heard up to 6 months as well but was wondering if the reference calls take 6 months as well.

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Hi all,
How long did AC take to call references and job offer from interview date. I'm thinking if they don't call references within 3-4 weeks, one can expect a PFO.
Thanks
Jet

Re: Sunwing fleet and pilot rosters for the 2015/h2015 seaso
Hello,
A little off topic but does any Sunwing pilots know who I need to contact for employee travel discounts. We don't have an agreement but was wondering if Sunwing will offer discounts to flightcrew.
Thanks
Jet
