Re: Dash to E2 left seat upgrading
FOs are now restricted to 3 a month plus new hires have a 2 year fleet lock on type although that may have changed as of late.

Accruing YOS means Jack shit. Point is you are not getting paid what you are rightfully entitled to.

Re: New Pay Increase for DH4 Captains
Currently as it stands-flow limited to 3 a month cumulative from Q to E2 for both CAs and now FOs. Earlier in the year a number of junior FOs were able to transfer as they lifted fleet lock. Some Q CAs have bid over as FOs and have been restricted from flowing over as this is now counted under the 3...

Re: New Pay Increase for DH4 Captains
Management are delusional if they expect to continue to build the E2 expansion on the backs of the Q 400 operation. Sneaking language into the latest amendment to bypass seniority is not going to fly.

Don't think it's a smart idea to post internal company communications on a forum. Common man.

Re: POE Media
The CA numbers on the Q side is the real issue here. Last summer we had approx 130 CAs now we are down to mid 60s in YTZ and folks continue to leave.

You seem to be the authority on everything POE after being here all of 6 months judging from all your posts. Perhaps it's not the best idea to post company communications for the general public to consume.

Re: YHZ base going forward.
As far as YHZ and YOW they are both quite senior bases.(top 25% seniority) I reckon once those bases open practically all the Q folks will snatch up all the E2 spots.

While I think we can all recognize 43k is a garbage wage to start, that was the wage advertised when you signed up for the gig. Itaserb, let's not make this personal. You cast some inaccurate accusations/statements that are unfounded and incorrect. Slow your roll dude.

Re: Announced routes
Not to generalize here but 90% of those hired in the last year are flight instructors with little to no 705 operational experience. As I previously stated if they are that bent out of shape they can bounce and work elsewhere.

Re: Announced routes
I understand their frustration/anger re having their offer rescinded but common man, most of those folks had been at the company all of 7/8 months tops. A wee bit of entitlement no? I guess voice your anger with your feet if you are that pissed.

What are you guys doing?
First time pax with you guys but what's going on with your sched? Booked a ticket for the 22nd flight scrubbed and moved to the 21st with no other option. Now day of, get an email saying the flight is departing 1.5 hrs late. Not a great first impression.

You figure they will absorb some of the SR guys like they did for GGN? I guess with so many folks laid off right now that would be a tough sell to the Jazz pilot group.

To clarify the CEWS covers 75% to a maximum of 58700. So essentially, the maximum you can take home is the equivalent of 44000 or 847per week minus EI/CPP/income tax.

Re: MOA2
Just wondering how you guys are coming up with 5100 per month based in the CEWS. Its a maximum of 75% of 58700 which equates to just over 44000 per year which would then be approx 1300 a pay. Without the 25% top up how did you come up with that figure?

Just to clarify, the dipstick test while testing for diabetes also is an indicator if your kidneys are leaking protein. We are well versed with the drill as we have to test our 5 year old daily as he has an auto immune disease (childhood nephrodic syndrome) Protein in your urine points means your ki...
