Re: Potential Airline Bailout

And that is all wonderful. But what about the "plan". Oh yeah, we do not have one. They are still hollering about Covid. There has been absolutely no plan put forward by Trudeau and company on how the country is supposed to move on out of this mess. Why? Are they brainless? Quite possible....

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

You do realize that "cargo" is not going to save the present air transportation system right? When things were booming there was enough cargo capacity. Now all the passenger carriers who have seen their loads disappear think cargo is going to save them?? Sounds like pie in the sky.You also...

To all those people who thought/said ONEX purchase was a step forward. Wrong. They are corporate raiders. Period. Now they need to get their money out of Westjet by any means possible. Look out below. Everything is on the table.

No disrespect but I don't think you have ever been involved in the details of financing an airline. It is smoke and mirrors.

Re: The Return to Normal?

The entire global aviation world was/is just one huge ponzi scheme. Been involved in it for many years. Air Canada was more than willing to jump right in and play the game. If it does not make economic sense to the layman then there is something seriously wrong. That has been the story for many year...

The facts are hard to deny. Numbers do not lie. Where do you come up with "millions worldwide"? Troll. The Canadian government completely over reacted and is still wallowing in despair. It is a national embarrassment and the fallout is just beginning.

You do realise that there are first world countries that did not do "lockdown" and they are fine. You do understand that don't you?? Sweden, South Korea, Taiwan to name a few. It is not necessary to destroy the economyover Covid. And in the meantime what about TB? Highly contagious.Still a...

Wow, how did Trudeau kill the economy? Well he killed it, knocked it on it's head, kicked it in the balls, whatever euphemism you like. Don't believe I said he had anything to do with the rest of the world but suit yourself. You do not put a full stop on everything and actually believe things will j...

And at no point did they shut down society. You have seen nothing yet and I am not talking about the flu virus. Most people will lose their shirts, pants, cars, trucks, pensions, etc.. Divorce rate set to skyrocket. And the economy, well once someone who can act as a leader steps in and puts their f...

Re: Grab a seat. The music is stopping

Air North is not essential. The only destination they serve that may be termed essential is Old Crow. The rest of their destinations are all simply convenience. You can drive everywhere they fly to on a scheduled basis except Old Crow.
