I will only wear my sunglasses when I'm outdoors and it's sunny. If I happen to be meeting someone outside in these same conditions I'll be wearing my sunglasses as I hate looking people in the eyes. Indoors, the sunglasses always come off.

Nav Canada new recruitment process is a total failure, this type of exam will let only those people do better who are good in vocabulary, history and general knowledge and none of these is required for the job. I was reading an old powerpoint presentation (from 2002) online from NavCanada and it mentioned RNAV SIDs being tested at CYOW and also RNAV SIDs being developed for CYYZ, CYUL, and CYYC. Is this issue now dead? I can't find any new information about it.

Looks like calls for interviews are being made for those who did the testing in Toronto. I got one this morning and I know of someone else who got a call yesterday.

Remember the PPL written is multiple choice. There will always be one correct answer, one that is close but not quite correct, and the other two are, most of the time, obviously wrong. So even if you don't know everything about everything, you can sometimes make an educated guess based on the choice...

I too am still waiting for my results.

Aside from giving away any answers I can remember (which I don't think would benefit anybody anyways :D) I will say that the seven minutes given for each section goes by quickly so if you are stuck on a certain question, just skip it (or guess at the answer if time is really limited as wrong answers...

In terms of world history, it was more of general knowledge with some history questions thrown in. ie. Who invented the telephone? What continent is some country in? Nothing overly difficult

There isn't really anything testing your Latin, but rather you are given a word and must pick the answer that means the same thing. For example if the word they give you is feline, then the answer would be cat.

I too completed the Toronto Assessment on November 7th. There are no penalties for wrong answers.
