Re: Off topic: Military service datapase?
Anyone who served be it Reg force or Reserve should be able to produce a certificate of service given to them shortly after their release. Also as mentioned above anyone should be able to rattle off their service number as it is drilled into you in the first week of Basic Military Qualification, I l...

In all actual facts my post was made in Jest and I do not condone nor have I ever condoned PAYING for a JOB or WORKING for FREE. My apologies as I realize sarcasm can be ha...

The original posters picture is actually the pilot waiting for WAWCON to improve and not willing to take the cut. Meanwhile the guy that did leap frogs him after 4 years and is 10 years younger! Yup pretty much the way of it, If only I didn't like eating decent food or building equity I might stand...

Still sucks for us mid-time guys who don't want to take the financial hit of making less than 50% of our current salary. If history serves I'm guessing we'll be seeing more bogus low-time-cadet-pilot-slave-schemes before we see a respectable rise in the WAWCON of our 704/705 carriers.

I've been at work for 5 minutes in that time I've cancelled all flights and our CSA is busy rescheduling everything because TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY. Do I feel pressure? s...

The pc-12 is an amazing aircraft, the real burden to the future of pilots is the pilots themselves.

Used to do between 80-90 per month, nowadays closer to 50 per month doesn't bother me either way as I'm on salary would be worse if I was on mileage.

Both pilots of that Navajo in Berens River who forgot to pull their wheel chocks out. Instead of getting out to see why all that power was not doing the job proceeded to apply almost T/O power to jump the chocks and proceed on their merry way.

Don't bother comparing yourself to others just do what makes you happy. There shouldn't be a race to "get there" enjoy the journey and build that PIC time, everything else will fall into place.Firebird67 wrote: people I went to school with are whooping myBut in total time

Equipment is top notch, good people and schedule and facilities in St Andrews are amazing. As far as I know starting is 52k with no float time and expect a 5k bond.

Re: Lowest landing speed?
The Robertson STOL on the 206 is an amazing feature and really improves the capability of the airplane. For us when doing the "Robertson T/O" as described on the STC its not uncommon to have a T/O of about 150 feet (empty). As for landing she still wants to fly at 30 knots with full flap.
