You didn’t say what year you 180 was but I am partial to cap 3000’s.

I did my initial at pro & all my renewals there until about 4 years ago when they couldn’t even give me the time of day.
I ended up at Canadian Flight Centre in Pitt.
They do have a Seneca 3 & 5 & a simulator for the ground stuff,perhaps have a look at them.

On our 185 bottom antenna is between the gear,top one is just in front of the rudder.

When we were planning the update for our 185 I initially bought a Garmin 335 remote transponder but before it was installed a fellow I know in the industry suggested that I put the Garmin 345DR in so I had it ordered & installed instead. I have more faith in my transponder track finding me than I do...

We always used Watson Winter Gloves at work,they make a wide variety of winter gloves that fit almost any need.
I admit that it doesn’t get to -40c on the Vancouver waterfront but -15c with a 20 knot wind off the harbour 150 feet off the deck can get cool.

I use the canon tr150,probably a newer version out there but it just sits on the back seat in case I need it.
Can run on battery & is wireless capable,makes printing super easy.

Too late for me - just updated our 185 & put in a Garmin 345 with diversity.
Mapping the antennas so it wouldn’t interfere with anything else took a bit of thought though,hasn’t even flown yet since the Garmin updates.

AME’s can cross to millwright with their skills,makes you a bit over experienced for the job but if the pay & the job is there….

My dad transitioned to millwright & was even asked why he would go backward - his answer was that that’s where the job was.
