Re: Jobless during the shortage! Work permit holders lets gather here

Seems that someone is looking for an instructor The Edmonton Flying Club isn't the only place being impacted by shortages. The airline, Northwestern Air, formerly ran a flight school in Fort Smith, N.W.T., just above the border between Alberta and the territory. But despite offering a $100,000 salar...

Re: The adds are killing this forum

I will that up to our host but running the forum with volunteers is not a cost item, hosting and paying for the internet offering is. I know of one aviation forum in Canada where the host says it costs him around $1000.00 a year to do so in direct costs.

Re: The adds are killing this forum

Amazing how many are upset about the ads and blaming them on greed rather than being necessary to offset the cost of running this forum. Lots of complaints but no offers of $$$$$ to remove the need for the ads. Go Figure.

Re: The adds are killing this forum

I suspect that the ads allow our host to keep the board running as I would bet the donations would not be keeping it going.

Re: How are flight attendants allowed to make less than Min Wage?

Re pay. Since the majority of pilots and FAs are paid according to their union agreements, I guess we can only blame those agreements on why they feel their wages are deficient.
