What's the latest rules out of CBSA for a private airplane flyi no g into the USA with an Un-vaxxed flight crew?
Up until this point, I know it hasn't been a problem but the rules may well be changing. Any firsthand experience out there?

Re: Maintenance Survey
There are some questions on this survey to which there are no correct answers. There are also a lot more layers that need to be peeled back and you, (flygirl & Co.) need to educate yourselves before this can be even relevant. Additionaly, I should mention, the direction of the entire questionaire sm...

Then we meet Joe, err, Mel with the bad temper.... So here's my take: - Mel is Joe - Krista is Justin - Hailey is Kelly - Kirby is an anorexic Adam Smith / Curtiss Dyson on oestrogen supplements. - Loreen is Mikey - Blake is Devon - Cece is a cross between Roddy, Jimmy Essery and the guy ...

I don't see how you could need an O.C.You'd also have to have a good look into the CAR's at the legality and possible requirements for certification
You are only selling 'the product' not the flying.

Where in the CARs does it say you can't do this?Aircraft started engines while ground support crew moving equipment and removing chocks and pylons.

Re: Photography Questions and Tips
Does anybody have experience with Micro Four-Thirds? I'm seriously leaning towards picking up a GF1 and a couple lenses to replace my old point-and-shoot. There is a GF X 1 in the rumour mill but I can't find any specifics as to when it will hit the market or what the advantages will be over GF1. I ...

No landing weight restriction on this airplane?
I know a guy who had both his AME lic and pilot's lic revoked for hauling fuel in an Ag Cat.
Overweight landings were the issue with T.C.

Which brings me to the ad for Skyvan pilots... No company name, no requirements..Well, actually nothing other than send me your resume and contact numbers. I find it hard to believe that anyone would actually respond to that...what do you say?.... It is intriging that people would apply for a job w...

Re: Dangers of erecting a Xmas tree with a chopper
I have no idea why they didn't "punch off" the line from either end before getting into this mess. You can't "punch off" a line that has no weight on it. It wouldn't have fallen out of the hook. There's a very candid interview with the pilot that I cannot seem to find at the moment. He makes a comm...

A garden variety flower-watering pot full of Smirnoff, suspended from a crane will suffice.
This series of pics is top shelf on its own but the 'de-frosting' equipment here is a must-see..

Re: Training bond NOT tax deductible !?!
A bond as such, will be repaid by the company after you have met your post-training employment conditions, either in installments or as a lump sum in its entirety, right? If you claim it as an expense now, you will have to claim it as income when they pay it back. At that point, presumably you'll be...

If you take money out of a TFSA to invest you will get taxed on any return. Interest is only tax free while the funds are in the account. That was my impression also but it's not what I'm hearing in the other thread. That's the deal with RRSPs but you're pulling the money out down the road, when yo...
