Re: JOB OPPORTUNITY LONDON AND AREA
I would advise staying away from Goderich Aircraft if at all possible.....Just my two cents though.

Re: got an interview at Jazz...
Thanks Canrotor, Dash 8 line maintenance is done in Calgary, unless I'm mistaken. Shifts sound pretty decent, doesn't matter to much to me as I've worked 4 10's before. Do they do any line maintenance there or is it just heavy? Also, I have no ACA for CRJ, no endorsements. I guess there's no bargain...

got an interview at Jazz...
Sorry guys if I've posted this in the wrong forum.... I got a call this afternoon from Jazz to come in for an interview tomorrow in London, what can a licensed M1/M2 AME with 5 years exp. expect in pay? Bear in mind, I have no endorsements on the RJ or Dash. What's the schedule like at YXU? I heard ...

Sorry, I should've been more thorough...What I meant to say was a non-ACA'd AME for the time being. You can be licenced but not exercise the priveleges of an signing an MR.

Re: Air London
So I drove over to the International airport and talked with the DOM at Air London. It seems like they have a good setup there, a few 152's and 172's, Seneca and a 421. Overall, I don't have any exp. on piston pounders but that doesn't mean I'm not willing to learn. Sounds like they're just just loo...

Re: Air London
I have a feeling this won't be of any help, but it brought back some memories for me, so I thought I would post anyways. I started my apprenticeship there 12 years ago when Richard and Sharon owned the place and Jeff was the AME there. For me as an apprentice it was really good, Jeff made it a real...

Re: Air London
Their website opens with a pic of an M2 jet, but no mention of that in the ad..hmmm... MS[/quote] Ya I thought that was rather weird too....not too sure what it means other than doing a little research on their website. It looks as though the flight school is Aero Academy and the maintenance is done...

Air London
I've searched high and low on the forums and haven't found anything maintenance related in regards to Air London Ltd. in London, ON.
Does or has anybody worked for them before? What are the working hours? Are they reputable? Wages? Anything at all....
Thanks,
Jay25

Re: Transcapital
Can anybody give me any insight who has worked as an AME for Trancapital? I know every company has its pros and cons, but from what I'm hearing it doesn't sound promising. I'm an AME with M1 and M2, no endorsements with five years exp.
Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers,

Who's hiring?
I've been reading a few forums on here, and I'm getting the impression that AME's haven't been hit that hard by the recession. I don't know if this is true so much for Ontario. Having lived in Calgary for a few years, the industry was thriving a few years back and no doubt, still is. I moved back to...

Re: Air Georgian
If I'm doing as much paperwork as I do now, it's no big deal. I learned this was a given when I became an AME.

Air Georgian
Hey everyone, I'm a newbie as far as posts go. Just wondering if anybody has worked or knows anything about working for Air Georgian in YYZ. I have an opportunity coming my way and wanted to know about the working conditions before accepting. Generally speaking...is it a decent place to work? Pay? A...
