Re: Porter Airlines complete temporary shutdown

You guys always tried to treat me as best as you could when I commuted on you. I can only hope Bobby is true to his words and that I see you guys flying again on the back side of this chaos. Best of luck everyone...

Re: Flying for a Canadian versus American airline

I currently live in Toronto and commute to the states where I fly an A320 for an A320/E-190 LCC. Citizenship(s) is not an issue, nor are the US and Canadian ATP's in my case. I've interviewed with and have successfully been PFO'd by airlines in both countries.... I speak fluent Boeing and Airbus, bu...

It seems this jet is back in service after a quick search of the more popular aviation photo website.

The pathetic thing is there won't be a shortage of knuckleheads tripping over themselves with SJS trying to get a job with this version of "Eastern".

Re: New Acronym for LCC

Low Compensation Carrier is what LCC stands for.

Stop pussyfooting around and call it what it is.

Just about every airline out there follows this 'model' or subscribes to the 'matrix' or whatever contrarian or Orwellian word your particular airline uses.

Re: L-188A C-GNPB heading to AirSpray

Beef, Yup that's kind of I was looking for. Just more accurate stuff is what I'm seeking. Ironically I have that kit as well as many other Minicraft Electras (PSA, AA, Eastern). I know accuracy and the Minicraft Electra are terms that aren't used together however.... The art I would like to draw is ...

Re: L-188A C-GNPB heading to AirSpray

Sorry guys for the thread hijack....

I'm an avid modeller and I also draw my own decals. What I'm looking for are some detailed pictures of the Electra logo in the cursive script so that I can make a decal of it. Can any Buffalo or Air Spray guys help me out?

Thanks.

I wonder what Transport Canada thinks of Joe sitting on the jumpseat giving a line check without a valid license?

I do enjoy the mindless entertainment factor of the show....

Re: Are pilots require to have canpass/nexus?

The NEXUS is indeed a great thing to have. But also keep this in mind, you WILL get tagged for a secondary on occasion so plan accordingly. I've also experinced this issue commuting to work in the US, the U.S. CBP clowns don't(want to?) understand the concept of 'jumpseating'.
