Re: PC-12 Engine Shut Down
As for the twins, I would only speculate that experience level of the crew would be a factor. Any mariginal performing twin, piston or turbine can be a handful for an inexperienced crew when one engine fails. With the singles, your hands are tied, decisions are made. You are gliding to a crash. I j...

What about if you lose the engine on a day that has big swells on the strait. what are you going to do? do you explain the risks to your passengers? :smt014 "I really think you shouldnt...

I wonder how difficult it will be for Cat Driver.
I wonder how difficult it will be for Cat Driver not to post in this topic!!!!!! I give it 5 days...or less!! If Pilots are not happy with Transport Canada and they want a overhaul of the system. why dont we get someone like Widow to organise a Petition for Change. If we get all the pilots signing I...

Re: Can some one from Ornge in the fixed wing please explain!!!!
I have heard that interviews are now taking place in Toronto.
Standard HR questions, as well as cap gen questions and alternate questions are being asked at the interview. I have also heard that the quality of guys getting interviewed is quite high.
good luck with the interviews!!!

I have heard even though the way the economy is, companies will have a hard time finding Captains over 2000 hrs and a ATPL with all this ...

Re: Voyager off the runway in YYB?
Is it true that Voyageur make the pilots buy their own charts and approach plates? and that they only pay captains on a Kingair 100 42K a year? pay peanuts and you get Monkeys!!!! I have heard that they are not getting many applicants accepting jobs. a pay increase may be needed to attract mor...

Ok.... you advertised for pilots way.. way.. way back in October or September 2008. I applied and I am suitably qualified for the positions advertised. I had information and forms sent to me which I promptly filled out and returned to Aeropersonal. This was a few months ago now and I have met other ...
