American Airlines Fantasy Flight

With all the negative stories relating to American Airlines I came across this one and thought I would post about it. Looks like someone at AA has the holiday spirit with the holidays just days away. If you would like to read the story you can at the link below. http://fastlane.dot.gov/2010/12/airli...

Re: Flight Suits

Yes a flight suit might be useful one day, the standard is blue but I've seen all different colours. Not only do flight suits and helmets look "cool" they are pieces of safety equipment. Real suits are made of Nomex and other fire resistant materials to increase your chances of survival during an a...

Re: Buttonville Tower/Ground Crew/Instructors Shout Out

+1

Nice to read things like this when it would have been very easy to try to sneak by. Kudos on the safe call.

Also was great of the Tower & ground crew to be so accommodating. Must have been a nice sight from up in the tower looking over the city. :)

Re: Arctic Routing

EK regularly flies polar routings, DXB-SFO and DXB-LAX. (B777-300ER/200LR) The routing usually takes one directly north from the Middle East, there really isn't much to post as generally they are random routings. It's common to be handled by Murmansk on the eastern side, Reykjavik briefly for the "...

Not really sure if the rules here permit disclosing specifics, but just wondering which carrier is being talked about? I cant help but wonder if this is so well known to all here if a annonomys phone call might not do the trick?

Perhaps someone could kindly post the name of the carrier :)
