Dzus
I ordered a bunch of 1/4" dzus fasteners/grommets and springs when I needed #5s for my project. If anyone has a need let me know. I would rather give you the discount than pay Spruce to restock them.

Turtle Lake Saskatchewan
Does anyone out there know about the ownership or condition on the Grass strip at the south end of the lake. I've offered to to help out a newly widowed lady with closing up her lake lot. A day trip would be doable if I could fly in.

For Sale - Chipmunk Landing light
I'm helping an old timer clean out some old inventory from his basement. From the collection he brought out a new in box complete landing light assembly for a Chipmunk. It needs a new home. PM me if you know someone who could add this to their inventory and I will get you a price.

I drove by the strip on Sunday and it was wide open. Should still be that way unless they got some of the same snow that Edmonton got yesterday.

Re: King Air 100 question....straight 100 model
Only time I saw this before was when an engineer accidentally used the wrong lube on the FCU cam and follower ant springs were not strong enough to return the FCU to idle when throttle was brought back to idle.

Re: Vortex generators and flap gap seals for a C 172
I think you will find that flap gap seals will (for all intents and purposes) increase both stall speed and cruise speed. VGs increase aileron authority at low speed but may also increase full flap stall speed on a single engine Cessna. If you regularly expect and need max performance from your 172 ...

My kids have been flying with me since they hatched. When they were real small I rigged a set of muffs with extra padding to cover their ears. After that I hooked them into the intercom with jr. headsets. Never had any complaints until I took them on some longer trips. They are like me and prefer to...

Just did a search & could not find what I wanted. I would like to know if I could carry 6-7 pax off 3000 feet of pavement with any range. Also how are they on gravel? I have a potential buyer that would like the best of both worlds. My first thought for them was PC-12 or B200 but would like to prese...

Got an a-mail from the owner of the aircraft in question. His pilot climbed to 13000 to get on top coming out of Alaska. Claims the air cleaner was dripping wet and he said it would't make steady power with the carbheat on. I didn't ask but I thought a 180 hp husky would be injected. descended IMC w...

Sounds like change idle fuel pressure/mixture needs adjusting on your Clunkinental engine. While your at it have all fuel system pressures set or checked. I usually leave the mixtures quite lean throughout approach and landing to prevent the engine quiting on rollout when idle pressure is to high. Y...

Piston twin cessna
Looking for ideas !!! Have twin cessna with boots that will not fully deflate & suck down properly. All control valves have been replaced/overhauled. I am now removing all sources of pressure air from the system to see if suction will pull them in on the next test flight. It seems I am loosing some ...
