Re: Faulty RadAlt brought down Turkish Airliner
so why was there a pitch up(ie a flare manouver as per the autoland procedure)As in a dual autopilot approach, autoland procedure. The fma f(light mode annunciator) would have given them indications that they were in dual channel by around 2400 ft and below.as well as both autopilot A and Autopilot B ...

Re: Faulty RadAlt brought down Turkish Airliner
Both autopilot A and Autopilot B have to be engaged to do an autoland, which will enable after a self test, the flare maneuver. If only one autopilot was engaged.the aircraft would not have pitched up(ie flared)you can not do an autoland in a NG with only one autopilot engaged. So with one autopilot(B) ...

The slot time here is the issue and the fact that you would have to fill the aircraft with revenue pax.who want the final Dest to be London.Slots in to Hethrow are worth(just Guessing)Millions(see Airlingus vacating snn-lhr for bel-lhr and taking the slots with them)So AC has a slot..so where do you...

swerved your an idiot.much of the problem with this flight is the slot time in LHR at 2135.There are no connections anywhere else that night, forcing pax to go out of yyt earlier to yhz or yyz ot yul.Factor in these pax and have a look.I personally have been on this flight a couple of times and it wa...
