Is this actually a merger? To my understanding WestJet purchased Sunwing. Plus WestJet utilizes it's pilots much more efficiently than Sunwing so I would be surprised if WestJet doesn't want all the Sunwing pilots to move over. You'll probably need the right to work (passport) and a TC ATPL, it's unlikely you'll find someone in the airlines to sponsor you unless you have some kind of unique skill. Maybe at a lower level until you can get the right to stay.
