If you're paying $250/hr for a float endorsement. You're being taken for a ride! It doesn't matter who is instructing!!

Be a little more realistic guys. Every forum has to end up being a huge debat. All I'm getting at is what would be the better way to learn? Everyone wants an instructor with a lifetime of experience. But those guys aren't around.

50 or nothing. It's worth the money. Some places will even let you rent the plane so you can get some PIC time.

Good luck there is alot of people looking for work. A guy I know sent out 50resumes with no job yet. His got 1200hrs and 800hrs float. It;s a tough go.

talkled to some guys just back from Harrisburg. Not looking good. bookings seem to be slowing down but that doesn't always mean anything.
