I agree there were some A/C that were set up like that but FFJ had a safety lock so that wouldn't occur. We had to lift the guard first.

In answer to your question, my best guess is, being as the doors were a drop type system maybe the bushings on the torque tubes were worn, pins in the hyd. jack system were worn this could have caused the geometric system to not work properly.
