Re: Oil leaked out-Engine Failed
The pilot did a great job . Getting it safely on the ground , without injury etc is a well done. Take little or no offense here, its all about sharing, "what ya have and what ya think". I may "up my game " to always doing a circuit after an oil change, vs "most of the time". If it was the retractio...

Re: 9 Killed in Hawker crash in Ohio.
IMO we may be incensed about the cause before being sure enough; in this case about that steeper descent . If knowing it's planned or a habit is one thing, but right now might be assuming it's an intentional move from the start of the "10 mile". I have sat here for oh a few minutes, thought I was g...

Re: C Series at Downsview
Notwithstanding the fact I know diddly squat about commercial airliners, this plane sure looks impressive, especially the cockpit layout. Being a very modern design, wouldn't this aircraft attract the attention of Canadian carriers who presently utilize such types(AC, Jazz etc.). Been reading that ...

Re: how can I improve my landings?
Seat position and runway width, will play a role in your perspective when you flare. This is very noticeable when landing at night. Important to look at the end of the runway, but is ok to take a 1/2 second to judge your height out the side.
