Re: Carson Air recent posting
I think I'm going to find a niche in the aviation market, buy a couple planes and have my pilots pay to fly. I'll have very little overhead since I can just charge everything to the pilots who will do my bidding and call me master. Hmmm... brilliant... Well unfortunately this is already happening. ...

Re: Central Mountain Air
Thanks guys, I do know that with low hours I can only expect the ramp. I have no issues with this at all, I was just curious if there was minimum like 250 or 300. It does not say on the website, just says low time pool. Obviously everyone that meets their mins would have at least 200 hours. Thanks a...

Re: Central Mountain Air
Just looking for any updated info for CMA as I am very near the end of my training and want to apply at CMA. How many people on the list right now? Any movement from WJ's new hiring? This low time pool of theirs, is there a minimum hours or can I apply with 205 hours as long as I have my multi, IFR ...

Re: Night Flying.
I am a 200 hour wonder just finishing my Multi and IFR, I cringe at the thought of doing anymore single engine night flying but obviously I need my hours for my ATPL. I have saved these hours for after I got my multi so I could do the night in a twin, however I have learned that my flight school doe...

"one has to ask why they will only rent to someone who did their training there?"
Um I would guess because they know and trust how they have trained the pilots that trained there and not some Joe who walks in off the street.

D For your information, the crew aboard Air Canada flight 271 acted professionally at all times, despite dealing with the multiple challenges of a diversion to Grand Forks, the need to refuel, a lack of ground power and the inability to deplane passengers due to the refusal of U.S. Customs and bord...

What a crock of you know what .... Looking at Flight Aware for the past week the score for Southern Air Cargo (SOO) TransPac flight: PANC=28 CYXS=0 Yes they are coming in droves to land at CYXS, what a pipe dream and waste of AIF'S. The CYXS airport authority needs to get their heads out of the san...

Quote: A federal investigation concluded the pilot took off with frost adhering to the aircraft’s lifting surfaces, which increased drag and reduced the ability of the wings to produce lift. Any time you navigate to a specific point is XC in my eyes, even if it is not another airport. It could just be a cool water fall or lake etc.
