Re: Will a modern dirt bike (yz250) fit in a 185?
I don't think you'll have much problem. I used to haul my KLX250 in my C-170. The co-pilot seat and the back seat had to come out. I took the front fork off the bike and then had to wrap a tie down strap around the back to compress the suspension so it would fit.

Re: L-188A C-GNPB heading to AirSpray
I think they always were 3 digit tanker numbers officially but just always used the last 2 numbers. Now there are more tankers flying around so to avoid mix-ups everyone was to use their 3 digit tanker number. The first number is suppose to signify the tanker type/size (L-188/CV-580/DC6 - 4XX, AT802...

Air Spray has been painting them in Red Deer. Don't think I have a pic of 487 from '95 but just for your info it was repainted in 2010.

Re: 4G Broadband interferes with GPS? Garmin says yes.
Had the same thing happen 2 nights ago going into YXD on the LPV - RNAV 12 as well. 530W & 430W both momentarily lost all signal. 530W came back just downgraded to LNAV and the 430W went to Enroute. Talked to another pilot who flew in earlier that night and said they lost INTEG momentarily with thei...

Re: BE20 Bleed air valve
The B200 has 2 bleed air valves per engine.
One Environmental and one Instrument (pneumatic).
When you gang bar, the environmental valves close and the Instrument valves will stay open (this is so that you still have air driven instruments when you gang bar.)

King Air B200 Current Limiter Question
Can someone tell me why you would lose your #2 Avionics when your right current limiter is blown and both generators are on.
Replace the current limiter and #2 Avionics work again.

Garmin 530/430 Question
We just got a new Garmin 530/430 package in our plane. Everything seems to be fine except that we noticed that all of our bearing's are 3-6 degrees right of what every other GPS has said. All I have been able to figure out is that the "Auto" Magnetic Variation is not the same as the CFS. I was wonde...

I remember a while back they said if you don't apply exactly as instructed you would never be allowed to apply again. phillyfan - Not to worry about that. Different management now fixed pitch - Not looking for Van drivers right now, just King Air, 206 and Dispatch. Time on type is an asset but not ...

I am not a grad of the program but have heard very good things about it. Fran is very experienced and well respected in the ag industry as are the other instructors there. I'm sure you are aware of the new insurance requirements for all new ag pilots to have ag training before they start spraying. I...
