I recommend the Bose noise cancelling. They're awesome and I think worth the money as well.

Just to answer you're earlier question about why there were only 31 Pax., the reason I've heard is that they were on a mine charter.

It was the 737. Apparently they landed beside the runway. 2 Captains on board.

I'd take the PIC time.... You should be able to tough out a year or two of shitty pay when in the long run it'll all pay off.
