Re: Give your head a shake!!!

Re: Give your head a shake!!!
Was also looking down south for a plane for the simple fact there are only so many airplanes of the type I am looking for and the price is an issue. I also feel things are a little overpriced here.
Does an airplane with a missing log make it impossible to import?
any input is appreciated

I see in a recent job posting for Sky North in winnipeg they posted the salary, which for a king air gig is not too bad. I don't know anything about SkyNorth, but at least they are up front with the salary

Perdiems are given on "on" days, I forget the exact amount but 40 a day rings a bell. The bond is not cash up front, but a training agreement. technically a 13 and 13 rotation for the ...

Just watched this week's soap.. A few comments/questions, generally in chronological order.. Hard not to feel happy for Larry when Mikey gives him the news of his upgrade - genuine enthusiasm and emotion there. So if the -46 is such a bear, why land it downwind as Gord did at ?Norman Wells? Mainten...

Re: Turbine licence requirements?
Interestingly enough, if you were an Ag pilot, and were going to be flying turbines, you would be required to go to Florida to take a course for about $3K. Otherwise, you would not be insurable. This is regardless of experience. My 10000+ hrs means nothing. I'd still have to fly a simulator and lea...

The only thing you are wrong about is the Ag Tractor, it is an Air Tractor. I think the other part is correct, looks like I will have to look that one up.

what is it, 24 months plus a day or something from date of initial expiry? In past episodes they have talked about the C-46 being hard to fly, can anyone comment on this. Cat mentioned the DC-3 was relatively easy to fly, just curious about the 46 or is this just dramatic TV. At least we will be talking about the show and not farming( by the way it is not a shot at farming...
